Join Headingley Voices Community Choir for a day’s rehearsal followed by evening performances of Fauré’s Requiem in D minor, Op. 48. Composed between 1887 and 1890, this is the best-known of Fauré’s large works. Consisting of seven movements, the focus of the piece is on eternal rest and consolation. The rehearsal and performances will be conducted by Imelda Shirley.
