An evening of four choirs for your enjoyment.
‘May Contain Notes’
Sit back and let ‘May Contain Notes’ open your evening of fantastic entertainment. They sing a range of numbers about the world we live in and want to live in including music that promotes peace, songs of protest and the experience of mental health, love and romance and our environment as well as songs that look on the bright side of life!
‘North Leeds Community Singers’
North Leeds Community singers started in 2016 and are led by Kate Mayger, a Music teacher at Allerton High School. Since then they have been building on their repertoire, consisting mostly of popular music, learned by ear and arranged during rehearsals.
‘Sing the World Choir’
Sing the World Choir is an open space for all to experience the joy of singing - exploring music from across the globe. We sing songs both simple in nature but weighty in depth and fully harmonised pieces, opening ourselves through the freedom of expression.
‘Good in Parts Community Choir’
Good in Parts Community Choir believe that singing is for everyone and that it should be fun. All our songs are taught by ear and through repetition, with an emphasis on mutual support and encouragement. We sing all kinds of songs including folk, world music, spirituals, songs from the shows and pop.
The running order will be -
1. May Contain Notes
2. North Leeds Community Singers
3. Sing the World Choir
4. Good In Parts Community Choir
