The Jazz Song Uncovered - marking 100 years of jazz song from its blues roots in Bessie Smith, through the American Songbook of Billie Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald, the bebop of Anita O’Day, the Black Soul of Abbey Lincoln, to the jazz fusion of Esperanza Spalding. Included are some of Louise’s Seven Deadly Sings and other originals.
